About

What?

Visual Playground is an illustration and graphic design school, on its 4th edition, that aims to further develop the visual arts community in Romania.

The school takes place over 10 days and consists of a series of concentrated courses and workshops held by around 13 speakers, designers, illustrators and studios from Romania and abroad.

How?

Prospective students can apply by submitting a portfolio containing a minimum of 3 works which will then be evaluated by the Visual Playground team, alongside an external curator. The number of spots is limited to 24.

Apply for Visual Playground

To apply as a student / participant for Visual Playground 2016 you must fill out our application form. You are required to be at least 18 years old, have a portfolio of at least 3 works and accept our Terms of Service.

The participation fee is 670 RON and must be paid only if your application is successful, before the start of the event.
It includes full access to all 13 workshops, courses and lectures held by over 15 local and international speakers, over the entire 10 days of the school. It also includes refreshments and part of the materials required during workshops.
